The philosophy behind the EQUUS range is to combine
the age old, proven principles of natural feeding
techniques with the latest technological research.

Throughout this range, the emphasis is on natural fibres and gut
health. The guiding principal behind all the formulations is to feed
horses as naturally as possible. Carefully selected, top grade
fibres naturally preferred by horses, have been blended with all
the other nutrients required to create a practical range of products
for a wide range of applications.

Making our horse feeds as natural as possible is always the priority
and only ingredients of the highest quality are used: fibres are
selected for palatability and effectiveness in ensuring gut health;
proteins are selected based on their specific amino acid profile;
fats included compose a specific Omega-3 profile; starches are
selected for their specific tempo of digestion to ensure a gradual
release of energy; and vitamins and minerals are included based
on their bio-availability and stability in mixtures.

Each product is nutritionally complete, contains elevated levels
of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes, and is formulated to fulfill
all the nutritional requirements for its specific application. Normal
healthy horses will need nothing else besides good quality hay or
pasture.

It is important to keep in mind that stress due to extensive
traveling, illness and other medical conditions might require the
use of some of the excellent supplements available to assist
recovery. While we utilise only the latest equine technology and
research in our product formulations certain horses, or specific
conditions, may require supplements and rather than
claiming to incorporate additives for all seasons, we prefer to
encourage owners to obtain professional advice from their
veterinarian/equine pharmacist about the correct supplement
to use.
