The Equus range of products is manufactured by the Driehoek Feeds Mill which is situated
in the heart of the Waterberg. With more than 20 years experience in the milling trade, stringent quality control of raw materials, an innovative spirit, and a proactive attitude to the latest research, Driehoek Feeds has developed a range of products respected throughout the Limpopo Province. With a committed team of expert nutritionists and a small but highly motivated staff complement who continually strive for excellence, Driehoek Feeds has become a leader in the highly specialized Game Feeding industry and produces a range of speciality products catering for a wide range of needs - from elephants used for safaris to intensive breeding programmes of rare species such as sable, roan antelope and buffalo. An increased demand in the Equine industry for the use of more natural feeding techniques to pro- mote better digestive health has resulted in the development of the new Equus range of products. The global trend towards using more natural fibres in equine diets has been responsible for noticeable improvements in the general health and wellbeing of horses, and over the past six months Equus products have already achieved impressive results including a Horse of the Year Award in April 2008 (see Testimonials page) The beautiful, unpolluted mountainous area of the Waterberg has become the perfect source for the best quality fibres and proteins for all the Equus products. Only the best raw materials are sourced for our equine division which produces feeds more natural, wholesome and environmentally friendly than the market standard. All our products are also specially packed in natural fibre Hessian bags. These bags, which are made from natural fibres, are biodegradable, and thus cause no pollution, are safe, and can be used for many purposes once emptied. All Equus products are tested and certified free of any undesirable substances prior to distribution thus setting new standards to ensure the safety and top performance of our beloved equine companions. A first in the industry! |
